Kidz Shed Indoor Playcentre & Cafe

Kidz Shed is an independent, locally-owned indoor playcentre and cafe on the Mornington Peninsula. We cater for the whole family and provide a fun, clean and safe place for kids to play whilst parents sit back and relax with a cuppa.

Kids of all ages have lots to discover at our indoor playcentre. For toddlers under 3 years, there is a dedicated fenced off play area just for them to explore. There is also a fenced outdoor play space with a jumping castle and more, perfect for kids to enjoy on a sunny day. We supply complimentary sunscreen and there is plenty of off-street parking!

Our onsite café caters for various dietary needs with a huge range of gluten-free options available including nuggets and chips. Kidz Shed also serves homemade food such as lasagne (gluten-free, vegetarian and meat), homemade pizzas and hamburgers. We even have an ALL DAY BREAKFAST MENU!

All this plus a range of hot and cold drinks, including freshly squeezed juices, Lavazza coffee and Prana Chai.

Kidz Shed Indoor Playcentre Admission:

• Under 12 months: free
• 1 - 4 year olds: $10.90
• 5+ years: $13.90

During school holidays and wet weather, bookings are preferred but not essential.

• Open Tue - Fri from 9am to 3.30pm
• Open Sat - Sun from 9am to 4pm

Extended hours on school holidays:

• Open Mon - Sun from 9am to 4pm

Kidz Shed Play Rules

• Socks must be worn by both kids and adults for health and safety reasons. If you forget to bring some along, socks are available for purchase.
• Please don't bring outside food or drinks (except baby food & bottled water) unless arranged prior with management.
• Parents can't drop children off and leave. They must stay and supervise their children at all times.

Parties start at $25 per child. There are themed parties and healthy option parties.

Did you want the whole venue to yourselves?

Kidz Shed hires out the venue for 2-3 hours.

Catering for the private hire is well priced, and children’s party food packages are only $9/head. Food never runs out!

For the adults, the popular home made pizzas win at every party, along with a range of yummy platters.

Standard birthday party package: $25 per child

Note: Upgrade to a "healthy option" for $27 per child.

Includes 1.5 hours in the party room with a roaming host. 

Printable invitations are available. 

The birthday child will receive a gift voucher.

Food and drinks:

• Complimentary coffee (for the birthday child’s parents)
• Water or cordial
• Fairy bread
• Chips or cheezels or popcorn
• Choice of 2 hot foods served with a side of chips (nuggets, pies/sausage rolls, cocktail frankfurts, mini hamburgers, home made pizzas)

Themed character parties: +$4 extra per child 

Possible themes include: 

Shopkins, Dora the Explorer, Finding Dory, Star Wars, Thomas the Tank Engine, Minnie Mouse, Paw Patrol, Frozen and Batman.

Coloured themed parties: +$2.50 extra per child

Private Venue Hire:

$550 for 2 hours

+ $150 for every extra hour

Staff will be onsite to assist you throughout your party to ensure it runs smoothly.
