More info
This lovely walk along the Mornington Peninsula coastline near the beach, was designed in 2018 in honour of Dorothy Houghton.
Who was Dorothy Houghton?
Houghton was the first female councillor and president of the Flinders Shire, contributing greatly to the community by protecting public land along the Sorrento foreshore.
Walking track
The 270m walking trail goes between Cameron's Bight Beach and Sullivan Bay. Take this leisurely stroll along the Sorrento shoreline to enjoy beautiful views of the bay. You can sit on the edge of the track on the rocks to enjoy the views and a small picnic with the family.
Accessibility
The track is a flat dirt path, so can be suitable for prams and wheelchairs, however, the path from the parking to the walking track has some gentle hills, so assistance may be needed there.
Dog friendly
Dogs are allowed on the track and Cameron Bight beach on a leash but aren’t allowed on Sullivan Bay.
Facilities
There is a car park near Collin's Settlement on Point Nepean Service Rd, just off the Nepean Highway via Leggett Way road. There are no other facilities here.
