Westerfolds Park is the perfect place for a family day out. Being a vast recreational and environmental parkland, Westerfolds Park in Templestowe VIC offers something for everyone. With plentiful parking, walking tracks and areas for picnics, this park is perfect for family days out.
The kids will love the large playground and running around in nature while you relax with a nice walk or jog. There might be even a forest school program available during school holidays, which is sure to be great fun for the little ones.
While you stroll around the park and go uphill during the day, you are likely to see some kangaroos there and other native wildlife! If you stay in the park up until sunset, you'll be lucky to see plenty of kangaroos very close.
If you decide to take your furry friend with you, Westerfolds Park is a dog-on-leash area only.
Playground:
With plenty of slides and swings, as well as shady trees and sheltered tables, it's the perfect spot to let your little ones run free. And if you get peckish, there are wood BBQs available and plenty of picnic tables.
There are many natural play areas and plenty of activities for kids of all ages, and the beautiful setting makes it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The wooden play structures are a bit dated, but they provide hours of fun for kids.
