Fitzroy Falls NSW

Fitzroy Falls is another perfect place for a family weekend getaway during the Sydney school holidays. 

Located in the Morton National Park, Fitzroy Falls's height is about 160 - 220 m / 525 - 722 ft.

The whole family will enjoy exploring the Fitzroy Falls walking track and taking in the breathtaking beauty of this scenic spot near Sydney. The drive from Sydney to Fitzroy Falls could take up to 2 hours.

Fitzroy falls picnic area offers plenty of picnic tables and seating with the local birds and pretty parrots visiting from time to time. Clean public toilets are on site too!

Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre is located between the carpark and the beginning of the Fitzroy Falls walking track and offers some snacks, books and handmade items from their gift shop.

There is an easy, short, pram- and wheelchair-accessible walk to the first spectacular Fitzroy falls lookout. The walking track distance is about 150-200m.

The kids will also enjoy the long walk through the reserve along both sides of the gorge, which offers amazing views down to the bottom and back to the falls. Fitzroy Falls walk time could take up to 1.5 hours.

Please note that the parking is $4 per day or free with an NSW Park Pass.
