Are dogs allowed in Manly Beach?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the main Manly Beach, where the swimming zone is. However, there are dog friendly beach areas, like at the end of the main beach in Manly Lagoon, where dogs are allowed off leash 24 hours a day. You can also walk your dog on a leash on the promenade near the beach.

There can be signs that restrict dogs in certain areas of Manly Beach so do read these to avoid a fine!
