Embark on an extraordinary aerial journey from Queenstown to Mount Cook with a special alpine landing, guided walk and glacier boat tour that will blow you away. Lifting off from Queenstown Airport, passengers will fly up the spine of the South Island with panoramic views of Lake Wanaka on one side and Lake Pukaki on the other.
Next, the flight will track towards the Franz and Fox Glaciers plus the Tasman Glaciers on the West Coast within the Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. Put the phone away for a few minutes to truly soak in the grandeur of the Tasman Glacier from the air before a landing in Mount Cook National Park. You’ll then team up for some Glacier exploring on land.
Join a bus ride to the Tasman Valley and begin a 30 minute alpine walk through the morain and National Park. Explorers will then get the chance to jump on a 1 hour glacier boat tour across the terminal lake towering past ice walls, icebergs and lateral moraines. Wrapping up the day, buckle up for one more scenic flight back to Queenstown flying over Lindis Pass. And, best of all, each passenger is guaranteed a window seat to make the flight even better.
