Queen Mary Falls Walk (Queen Mary Falls Circuit)

Queen Mary Falls offers a relatively easy bush walk that takes you to a stunning lookout. This is the Main Circuit, a lovely short walk (2km return, around 40 mins) from the carpark to the bottom of the falls. The walk is easy with a few stairs and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, so even the younger kids can easily do this adventurous hike.

We recommend going in a clockwise direction if you want to do the full Queen Mary Falls circuit. However, going anti-clockwise and returning the same way seemed much easier.

The whole family will enjoy this peaceful short bush walk through a lush rainforest to the viewing platform, with the noise from the water slamming into the rocks below and beautiful parrots everywhere.

As a bonus, everyone can find a spot to sit on the rocks and enjoy the magnificent waterfalls! The whole experience is so much fun for kids of all ages!

In 1893, Mary married Prince George, the Duke of York, and became the Duchess of York.

In 1910, George, the Princess of Wales, became King and Mary became Queen consort of the United Kingdom

Queen Mary was a popular and highly respected figure known for her charitable work and strong support of the monarchy. She also was an enthusiastic collector of art objects, artefacts, jewels and pictures with a royal connection.
