Brighton Beach in Adelaide, South Australia, is a great swimming beach in Adelaide. There are some shallow areas that are safe for kids to swim in.
There are many great cafes and restaurants nearby if you’d like a takeaway meal or snack to enjoy on a beach picnic.
Brighton Beach is the perfect Adelaide sunset watching destination. Fishing is also one of the most popular outdoor activities Adelaide offers at the Brighton Jetty nearby.
There are even some sculptures by the sea to find while you enjoy one of the best Adelaide beach walks.
The walking paths along the beach are quite flat, so can be suitable for wheelchairs and prams.
