The Cedar Creek Falls - Airlie Beach drive takes about half an hour to one hour.
It's a lovely spot for a swim, pebble skip and a picnic in nature. There's a picnic table near the carpark. Don't forget your furry friend, as Cedar Creek Falls, QLD, is a dog-friendly waterfall!
The Cedar Creek Falls walk from the carpark is easy and short (about 50 m to the waterfall), but it gets a bit rocky near the fall area.
Take a dip in this refreshing swimming hole, explore the surrounding hiking trails, or relax and enjoy the natural beauty.
Kids will have an absolute blast while feeding the fish, turtles and prawns in there. There's also a rope-hanging swing to climb up and jump in the water.
Please note that the waterfalls may not run during the low rainfall season.
The rubber-based shoes will make it easier for kids to enter the water! Bring a repellent spray with you because there are lots of mosquitoes.
