Time
- This river trip is between 2.5 - 4 hours depending on river flow on the day
- Tours start at 9am and 2pm
Location
- This experience takes place on Te Awa Kairangi, between Kaitoke Regional Park and Te Marua, Hutt Valley, Wellington.
Departure Location
- This experience departs from our base of operations at 3/9a Jupiter Grove, Trentham, Upper Hutt 5018. We can arrange a pick-up from Wellington CBD for $75 per person return, or from Upper Hutt train station for $20 per person return.

- Spectators can farewell and welcome travelers at the beginning and end of the trip, but no viewing is available during the tour
- The river flow is dependent on rainfall, so previous weather may influence the trip
- In the event that the river flow is too low, we will be unable to raft. If the river flow is too high. We will let you know if the conditions on the day are not suitable
- River tours run all year round (even during winter rain) - you'll be warm in our river gear regardless of the weather
- This experience is not wheelchair or stroller accessible
Terms And Conditions
- Please let us know of any dietary restrictions for the refreshments
- Children must be at least 10 years old to participate in a rafting or guided duckie trip, or at least 13 years old for a solo duckie trip
- Please let us know of any medical conditions that may affect your trip
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems, heart problems, or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- As the river flow is rain-dependent, we may have to cancel due to weather conditions
- If the trip doesn't meet the minimum client numbers, we may have to reschedule the trip to meet the minimum client numbers
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
