Girl Guides is a Place to Grow, especially for girls ages 5 - 17. They experience fun, informal education through play, self-led discovery and exploration and achievement, where girls learn about the practical and social parts of life they don't learn in the school environment.
They get outside, challenge themselves, achieve things they didn't think they could, learn to lead and learn to work together in a team of their peers. Girls typically meet in Units in their local area once a week and have the option to participate in adventurous activities and camps at other times. When they can't meet face to face they adapt and stay connected online.
