For an awe-inspiring experience, take to the skies to fly around massive ancient glaciers, steep uniquely shaped icefalls, Mount Aspiring National Park’s native beech forest and the snow-capped peaks of Mount Aspiring! Fly to the incredibly striking peak, Aspiring, also referred to as the "Matterhorn of the South," which stands high above the backbone of the Southern Alps.
Granting you uninhibited views of the incredible alpine highlights throughout the scenic flight, the aircraft has high wings, large windows and offers window seat viewing to all passengers. As well, the pilot shares his intimate knowledge of Mount Aspiring and the surrounding region with you over a two-way headset. This 50-minute adventure is an extraordinary exploration of one of nature’s most stunning creations!
