Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance is an iconic monument paying tribute to the soldiers who served in the military on behalf of Australia. The shrine is a place where families come to grieve the fallen and continue to honour the military community. Join a walking tour of the elaborate monument and unearth the moving stories and values that honour the ANZAC's of the past and present.

The Shrine of Remembrance tour runs for 45 minutes at 11am and 1pm. Delve deep into Victoria's history during this insightful tour.

Highlights

  • Learn about the distinctive architectural features, statues, poignant inscriptions and building design from the Western steps

  • Participants must have the ability to climb stairs
  • Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
  • Tour is not recommended for children under 6 years old. Children under 6 years old can participate free of charge
