What you need to know

On of the most popular eateries in Kaikoura, Nin's Bin is a small shipping container-type seafood retailer on the eastern coast of the South Island. With a light menu (making ordering a breeze) you can choose from their two specialties; crayfish or mussels. Caught fresh in the waters off Kaikoura you can enjoy your freshly cooked seafood overlooking the beautiful blue water.

Since the 1970s Nin's Bin has been serving the local community of Kaikoura, which is only fitting as the Maori mean for Kaikoura is to 'eat crayfish or lobster'. You can find this popular joint around 20 minute scenic drive north of Kaikoura. Open seven days a week from 9am until 5pm, you can get your fix of fresh and delicious seafood mixed with relaxing and scenic views.
