What you need to know

Get up close with dolphins, turtles, rays and more on this great value 5 hour kayaking tour of the Gold Coast Broadwater and South Stradbroke Island combining exercise & sightseeing. Join your friendly kayaking hosts, hop aboard your stable kayak and head out from Biggera Waters, paddling through a habitat of various marine life and learning about the local area along the way. After around 40 minutes of paddling, you'll arrive at Stradbroke Island where you'll be able to hop on shore and feel the sand between your toes. Take a bushwalk from one side of the island to the other, keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as wallabies, then re-board your kayak for an additional trip to neighbouring Wave Break Island.

Once at "Wave Break", you'll have 2 hours to take part in a host of activities on the island, including snorkelling in the lovely reef surrounds, try out your balance and have fun in our stand up paddle boards or any other range of beach activities. Relax and enjoy a delicious, healthy picnic lunch while enjoying some music on your beach mat (provided) taking in the views.   • Tours depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday mornings at 8:30am
  • Complimentary pick up from Mantra Circle on Cavil at 7:30am, Watermark at 7:40am, Q1 at 7:45am and Mantra on View at 7:55am, please allow up to 10minutes delay after arranged pick up time just incase the driver gets any traffic congestion
  • Launch point: Marine Parade, Biggera Waters 4216. Please note Seaway kayaking Tours are not a shop. Look for our truck parked between Parr Street and Burrows street on the beach side. There is free and unlimited parking in the area
